This low-budget zombiethon follows a group of high school pals, pitted against legions of dumb (but deadly!) flesh-eaters. Eschewing the ironic humor that deflates most horror films (DR. GIGGLES, anyone?), AUTOMATON TRANSFUSION plays it straight with plenty of on-screen violence (limbs torn off like chicken wings, virulent blood sprays) to thrill splatter fans and assorted sadists.
