Blue Collar funnyman Bill Engvall is Bill, the owner of small bait shop. In order to keep his livelihood, Bill must raise the same amount of money currently being offered as the grand prize in a bass fishing competition. But when his hotshot bait shop business competitor (Billy Ray Cyrus) also enters the contest, things quickly escalate to an all-out showdown of ultimate machismo. This gut-buster makes THE BLUE COLLAR COMEDY TOUR look like LITTLE WOMEN. It's so hilarious people will start thinking DELTA FARCE is actually DELTA FORCE when they compare it to BAIT SHOP.

Something fishy is happening at Bill's Bait Shop. Forced to come up with $15,000 or else witness his small-town bait shop become the one that got away, Bill (Bill Engvall) must rely on a comedic cast of friends and family to hook the "the big one." Putting his reel skill to the test, Bill enters the annual Bass Tournament against rival bait shop owner Hot Rod Johnson (Billy Ray Cyrus), who's determined to put his money where his large mouth is. It's Bill's last chance to prove that in this pond called life, he's still the big fish.
