Six of the New York City Ballet's top ballerinas reveal what it's like to dance for the best contemporary ballet choreographer, George Balanchine.

Six of Balanchine's most well-known ballerinas discuss what it was like working for the master. Each dancer reveals a different perspective on the experience -- from the mostly positive views of Darci Kistler to Allegra Kent's more painful memories.
The documentary includes rare performance footage of Balanchine's ballets. These include: "Serenade", "Agon", "The Four Temperaments", "Firebird", "Stars and Stripes" and "Scotch Symphony".
