Emerging at the beginning of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, pioneering all-girl metal band Girlschool caught the eye of Motorhead's manager Doug Smith in 1978, and the rest was history. The group recorded a top 10 hit with Motorhead as Headgirl, attracting a large fan base and paving the way for contemporary girl bands whose music still show Girlschool's influence. This 1984 show in London's Camden Palace occurred during the peak of Girlschool's career, while they were recording their album RUNNING WILD, which would be released some six months hence. They play such choice tracks from that record as "Nowhere to Run," "Can't You See," "Love Is A Lie," and "Running Wild."
