This follow-up to 2002's rhythm-influenced third-person shooter aims to once again blend timing and flair with full-bore, blast-anything-that-moves action. The undead, coffin-wielding star of the original game,
Gungrave, returns, but he is joined by two new playable characters:
Juji Kabane, a bitter, foul-mouthed swordsman who can inflict quick and deadly melee damage in spite of his blindness, and
Rocket Billy RedCadillac, a leather-wearing rock 'n roller who shoots devastating bolts of electricity from his guitar. The chosen character will venture through a variety of destructible environments in nine stages of unrelenting action with a twist; the original game's Beat Counter returns, to reward players who can keep up a steady, stylish stream of damage and demolition.
