Wealthy American Philip (Cary Grant) and famous actress Anne (Ingrid Bergman) meet just as Anne insists that all the best men have already been taken. Though Philip is taken, Anne can't resist their instant attraction and electricity. But the rather big, and unexpected, secret Philip hides from his new love threatens to spoil everything.
When they teamed up again in INDISCREET--more than a decade after their romance in Hitchcock's NOTORIOUS--Grant and Bergman were no longer shiny-bright young stars. (Grant had been in films for 30 years and a screen idol for 20, while Bergman had made her name in CASABLANCA 15 years earlier.) An internationally known actress falls in love with a beguiling NATO official who uses a cruel ruse to keep from getting married: He tells women with whom he is having an affair that he is married and unable to get a divorce. Little does he know, but his next girlfriend's got a few tricks of her own up her sleeve. The film is based on Norman Krasna's 1953 play.
