About five minutes into 2009's LONG LIVE THE QUEEN, after unleashing a joke savaging Filipinos, Lisa Lampanelli almost tremulously (but by no means timidly), sighs, "Well, this is really a good start so far." By this point, the acerbic comedienne--the 21st-century Don Rickles--has slung some form of insult on just about every ethnicity and subgroup. Yet it's these very subgroups who make up Lampanelli's fanbase and pile into the front row, eager to be her targets.
