The year is 2040, and fighter pilot Isamu Dyson is the top government pilot assigned to test a new stealth aircraft on the colonial planet of Eden. His only competition is an old romantic and professional rival, Guld Bowman. Meanwhile, Isamu and Guld's mutual object of affection, Myung, has returned to Eden as part of the entourage of virtual pop star Sharon Apple. Myung's reappearance re-ignites the romantic triangle between her and the two pilots, which intensifies their antagonism over the piloting job. Like TOP GUN in space, with a hefty dose of romance and rock music, MACROSS PLUS has long been regarded as an anime classic. This release collects all four episodes of the series.
