Special focus is placed on the 2003 and 2004 seasons, which each ended with the Yanks and Sox facing off in a thrilling seven-game American League Championship Series. 2003 featured a memorable brawl that resulted in Sox ace Pedro Martinez throwing then-72-year-old Yankees bench coach Don Zimmer to the ground, followed by an incredibly dramatic extra-innings Yankee victory in the instant-classic Game 7. The following year, of course, saw perhaps the most remarkable comeback in all of baseball history, as the scrappy "idiot" Sox clawed their way back from a three-games-to-none deficit to win the series and, eventually, break the infamous "Curse of the Bambino."
