Made up of Rick Ross's previous Suave House recordings, RISE TO POWER sees the Miami rapper spinning more vivid vignettes of street-life paranoia. While the hardboiled drug-trafficking narratives (definitely Ross's strong suit) dominate RISE TO POWER, they are offset by the odd R&B flavored club-joint ("Get That Bread," "Street Love").
