When tensions with the Chinese military force research scientist Dr. Andrea Swanson (Krista Allen), her assistant, Jake (Louis Mandylor), and a container of vicious, mutated snakes to evacuate a remote jungle island in the Pacific, the only way off is by boarding an old submarine headed by a grouchy lieutenant commander (Luke Perry).
