This DVD series features two re-mastered episodes of the ground-breaking television science-fiction series per disc.

In Episode 55, "Assignment Earth," the Enterprise is sent to Earth in the late 1960s to study human history, where they encounter a being who claims to have been sent by aliens to save Earth.

Episode 56, "Spectre of the Gun," finds Kirk and crew being forced to relive the gunfight at the O.K. Corral on the Melkotian's home planet after they destroy the Melkot's warning buoy.
