The Grammy-nominated Broadway cast recording of the lauded 2006 musical THE DROWSY CHAPERONE pays clever and entertaining tribute to the lavish stage productions of the early 20th century. Led by actors Bob Martin and Sutton Foster, the album mixes witty narrated bits ("Beatrice Stockwell") with jaunty show tunes ("Love Is Lovely in the End"), making for an excellent audio document of the giddily enjoyable play.
