The Hammer Collection presents a story about a deadly plague which is reaching epidemic proportions in the English countryside. Doctor Peter Thompson (Brooks Williams) contacts his mentor, Sir James Forbes (Andre Morell) for help in solving the mystery. However, when the pair commence their investigation, they find something even more shocking than zombies, voodoo, and empty tombs.
