Originally released in 1979, TRUTHS AND RIGHTS was a pioneering effort in dancehall reggae. Considered one of the first releases in the new, more energetic, and increasingly electronic sound that would soon dominate reggae in the 1980s, TRUTHS AND RIGHTS is nonetheless based in deep roots reggae, being produced by the master Clement Dodd. This reissue adds six tracks, including dub mixes, and a previously unreleased outtake, "Can't Buy Love/Swing Easy," as well as in-depth liner notes and interviews.
