A fashion editor seeking psychiatric help finds that his analyst is the one in need of professional services. Great script by Woody Allen.

Deciding that he is finally ready to settle down, fashion editor Michael James realizes that he has a real problem: He is very handsome, and his job as editor for a Parisian fashion magazine gives women the opportunity to throw themselves at him. And Michael really likes it. So he employs the services of a psychiatrist to cure him. Unfortunately, the shrink is even more woman-crazy than Michael, and as mad as a hatter to boot. What will Michael do when a half-naked parachutist drops into his convertible, a stripper does a bump and grind in his lap, and the husband of a nymphomaniac wants to kill him?

Woody Allen's film debut as an actor and screenwriter.

Released theatrically in the USA June 23, 1965.

Shot in Technicolor.

Excerpt: Conversation between Woody Allen (as Victor) and Peter Sellers (as Dr. Fritz Fassbender):

"For a doctor, you sound terribly unethical." (Victor)
"Unethical, humph. What do I give a damn about ethics. My father, the most beloved gynecologist in Vienna, before they took him away on a morals charge for indecent exposure at the State Opera House, said, and I quote, 'Please do not take me away, I will not do it again.'" (Fritz)
"Brilliant quote." (Victor)
"He was a brilliant pervert." (Fritz)

Exchanges between Edra Gale (as Anna Fassbender) and husband Peter Sellers (as Dr. Fritz Fassbender):

"Is she prettier than me?" (Anna)
"Prettier than you? I am prettier than you." (Fritz)

"You're grotesque." (Fritz)
"Lascivious adulterer." (Anna)
"Don't you dare call me that again until I have looked it up." (Fritz)
