Route 66 Revisited on CD

With over twenty years experience in the field of entertainment, Bobby Taylor has enjoyed success as a singer, musician, actor, songwriter, manager and producer at the highest levels of show business. As the son of a career Naval officer, Bobby was exposed to multi-cultural influences as he traveled the world, and was drawn in particular to the Rock and Roll, Rhythm and Blues, Soul and Country music indigenous to his much beloved America. While studying Art in college, Bobby financed his education by managing and performing (as vocalist and drummer) with several local bands, often backing-up famous recording artists who were on tour, wetting his appetite for a taste of the musical " big time". Having relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his m usical dreams, it was while working as a studio drummer at 20th Century Fox that Bobby attended an audition for the Broadway production of "Beatlemania", and won the role of their famous drummer over literally hundreds of hopefuls. Bobby subsequently performed in the original cast of the smash-hit show not only on Broadway, but on the stages of Los Angeles, London, Tokyo and eventually throughout the world. In addition to his role as the drummer, Bobby also handled promotional duties for the show on both television and radio. Over the years, Bobby has performed with hundreds of major stars in the showrooms of Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Reno and Atlantic City, for numerous Cruise Lines, major theme parks (Disneyland, Great America, Knotts Berry Farm and Magic Mountain) and major Corporate events (see attached list). Bobby also appeared in the Hollywood movie production of "The Jayne Mansfield Story", gaining entrance into the Screen Actors Guild. A singer-songwriter in his own right, Bobby has recently recorded a CD of original songs, entitled "Route 66 Revisited", which he has incorporated into his live show, which also encompasses all the musical influences of his life from Elvis to Hank Williams, The Beatles to the Beach Boys, and many, many more. Given the combination of his musical, stage, and performing experience, you'll be hearing a lot more of the name, Bobby Taylor.
