Handwritten is the fourth album from American rock outfit Gaslight Anthem. The band returns to the raw sound found on second release '59 Sound here, which earned them praise from various music critics, including Pitchfork and eMusic. Frontman Brian Fallon began working on the album in 2010, while also working on his side-project The Horrible Crowes, and eventually recorded Handwritten in 2012 at a Nashville studio.
