Next Generation Blues on CD

The album is a mixture of Blues, Funk, Soul and Rock, giving it a new sound. Blending the styles of Luther Allison, Jimmy Hendrix, Seal, and George Clinton, the CD leads the way to the next level of blues. 'Keep your eyes open for this guy; you will be seeing a lot from him soon' Dominique DESMONS, JFD Productions 'Jimmy Hendrix would have loved 'Katie's Alone.' It's incredibly soulful while possessing a blues rock sensibility that would have inspired one of his trademark psychedelic solos.' David Budge, Rooster Publicity 'I dug the bluesy guitar on 'Katie's Alone' -- has a little of the Clapton or Gary Moore feel to it.' Randall Davis, CSC Artist appearing on the 'Next Generation Blues' album include Billy Branch, Maurice John Vaughn, Darek Jackson (formerly of Al Jareau and Kenny Loggins), Sumito-Ariyo Ariyoshi (Billy Branch Band), Mark Mack (Drummer for James Cotton and former member of Ko Ko Taylor's Blues Machine), Nigel Mack, Brian James (Lonnie Brooks Band), Brady Williams, Osee Anderson, Rob Blaine (Little Milton Band) and Roosevelt Purifoy (Carlos Johnson Band). From classical and contemporary jazz to blues, R&B, and hip-hop, Charles's virtuosity transcends genres. As a professional bassist, Charles has performed with the Army and Navy Bands nationally and internationally in small ensembles, jazz trios, big bands, rock banks, and country groups.
