World of Music on CD

Liner Notes This Album is dedicated to the memory of Choicie Watkins (the mother of Charles Williams-the artist) whose maiden name was Satchel. In the early years of Charles' life - his mother bought him a guitar; a drum set and an Alto Saxophone but only the alto sax had the right sound for his state of mind. Charles loved Charlie Parker, Horace Silver, Miles, and the jazz musicians of that era and it was at this time that he met the legendary King Pleasure who helped call attention to the solos of James Moody by singing songs like "Moody's Mood for Love" and other instrumentals that James Moody had done. King Pleasure convinced Charles Williams to find his own style in the maze of sounds that come from the jazz world. Satchel's Entertainment is proud to Produce and Publish this Album "The World Of Music" for Charles Williams who Composed and Arranged all of the tracks. ASSOCIATES OF THE MUSIC WORLD Al Hall, Jr (Sanifu) of Hallways to Fame Productions "Jazz that encompasses many styles" Teodor Parnaite SF House of Soul "Jazzy, acid, fusion, downtempo and possibly soulful at times" Ric Berryman of VooDoo Bassist Production "Soulful jazz, funk-laced and truly heartfelt" Russ Krauch Citizen of Acid Planet "Abstract Electronic Jazz Variations" Vernon Bolden of Cameilyun Inc.
