John & Jen is a two-person musical, and the original cast recording is performed by its stars, Carolee Carmello and James Ludwig. The music runs the gamut of Broadway show tunes, alternating between brisk uptempo numbers and showstopping ballads. On this recording, the ballads rank as the most powerful, affecting cuts, but several of the lighter tracks are worthwhile as well.
