Very Last Performance by Bill Evans on CD
For the first time ever on any format, Bill Evans' final recordings, and probably the last notes he ever played. Evans was booked to play with his trio for five nights at the New York club Fat Tuesday's in September 1980. He completed the two sets included here during his first night, on September 10, but called in sick the following day and died on September 15, at the age of 51. 13 tracks. Domino Records.
