Description

For Those Without Dreams on CD

What happens when you combine the forces of a mutant honey ham, an intergalactic Squirrel, and enough drummers to set your head on a violent spin? You'll get the overwhelming sounds of none other than Milkleg. This three piece band includes Rachel Wicks (Vocals, Guitars), Cody Vargas (bass),and their newest member, drummer Boyd Fox. Milkleg tears down the walls between many genres, and has been frequently compared to numerous acts ranging from Tool and System of a Down, to the likes of Tori Amos and Mogwai. But do not underestimate them; they won't stop until they have taken over the world.. Originally conceived and nurtured in the small, boring, (nearly comatose) twin cities of BryanCollege Station, Texas, Milkleg was born. Hatched from the catatonic and chaotic frontal lobes of Rachel 'the' Wicks, and Cody 'the mad scientist' Vargas, they soon realized what must be done. Doing the open micsinger-song-writer venture together for about a year, before conjuring the idea to bring forth the maladjusted specter that is Milkleg. Although there is nothing quite like pulling out a distortion pedal on a Texas open mic stage Milkleg has grown and growth has brought them to their newest home of Denver, Colorado Where they continue to gig around Colorado and plan to tour in the near future.
