Playing in Traffic on CD

'There's just something about the music that makes you want to move and groove', is what most people say about Mr. Band and it's no wonder with songs like ' Dancing in the Night' and 'Swing' to his credit, the sound is definitely uplifting. Indeed, Mr. Band productions seem to be on to something with their eclectic hybrid of pop and dance music that has a sound of it's own with uplifting lyrics and catchy hooks. At the heart of Mr. Band lies one key player: Ricky Jim Skerik, creator and founder of Mr. Band. The talented Ricky Skerik is a song writer, producer and arranger for Mr. Band Productions. Upon release, 'Playing in Traffic' exploded onto the local scene in Ricky Skerik's native Kauai, Hawaii, receiving airplay and support from local retailers and radio. Working with musical collaborators: Tom Walsh on drums, bassist Bob Birch and recording engineer Rudy Estein of Fox Fire Studios in Los Angeles, California, Ricky has been crafting his music in order to give it a more defining sound in hopes that somewhere in the future of Mr. Band lies a label deal. Until that time, Ricky believes, if you're lucky enough to live and play music in Hawaii, you're lucky enough.
