Description

Nyiah on CD

The title of this CD comes from a name Una's grandfather use to call her when she was a young child growing up in Pusan South Korea. He always called her 'nyiah' which means beautiful child. Una and myself wrote all these songs together and she truly has been an inspiration in everything I have written. My name is Paul Perrault. I am originally from Connecticut now living in Philadelphia. On this CD, I play all the guitar parts, tamborine and some keyboard backing. The person that you hear playing the saxaphone and drums and keyboards, his name is Alan Paller who also has his own orchestra. These songs were recorded at his house and it was just the two of us recording. The type of studio he had was very professional with an eight track recording board. The songs on this CD, each instrument was done individually, which made the recording process even more fun. Alan's sax playing made my songs come to life. People who have heard me sing live, have told me me I sound like a combination of Jim Morrison - James Taylor and Jim Croce. That's a pretty nice mix. Our music is clean and fun to listen to and we hope you will enjoy listening to our songs. Our goal is to get a contract with someone who is looking for fresh material. Or maybe to have someone else do our music. In any case, enjoy our songs.
