One Man One Guitar on CD

I have composed and played music most of my life. I wrote my first song when I was 14 years old. I wrote and played throughout high school. I went on to major in music in college and played in clubs while I was in my 20s. I pretty much gave up playing until a few years ago when I started playing with some friends in a band. About 3 years ago I bought a Fostex VF-80 which is a digital tape deck, sort of a studio in a small inexpensive box. I started doing the Paul McCartney thing e.g. play and sing all the instruments and parts. I recently started using an Apple and Garage Band. I also bought an M-Audio MIDI controller to add drums and keyboard parts to some of my original material. I liked Garage Band it was used in part of recording 'One Man, One Guitar'. However I basically find that it causes a bit of a synthetic sound and I wanted something a little more authentic sounding. So most of 'One Man, One Guitar' was recorded as 'live' takes and I layered the bass etc on after the guitar and vocals, hence the title. This is my first solo recording. I had fun doing this stuff and I hope you enjoy it.
