Life in Monochrome on CD

1991 - 1996 : A founding member of a local band called Vertigo. The band quickly gained a regional following. The band released two recording projects that they independently produced and recorded during their time together. The band split up to pursue their different interests. 2001 : From the depths of a dark, basement bedroom, musical experiments gave way to something extraordinary. With the support of friends and family, all out production began soon after on what is now the full length, debut album from Phi Somatic, 'Life in Monochrome.' Lopez plays electric and acoustic guitars, bass, and performs the vocals, synths and drum sequencing on the album. 2002 - Beyond : Phi Somatic takes it's listeners on a musical journey that is fresh, unpredictable, and contagious. It traps listeners in a musical world that is filled with subtleties, rich lyrics, and layered with textures that keep listeners coming back to tracks again and again. Lopez, the frontman of Phi Somatic, has grown in presence as a songwriter and a producer. He has found a unique harmony in colliding the worlds of rock and electronica. Huge, processed beats, contemplative string movements, and spinning guitar solos have set his vision into motion. Thanks for the support and keep listening!
