Single Callin' on CD

Priscilla Biog: At the age of 12, I joined the school choir, not long thereafter, I embraced music, in a way I never thought could be possible. Dicovered by a famous French Operatic singer, Collette Alliot Lugaz, she soon introduced me to her teacher, who took me under her wings, and taught me for the next 4 years the foundation to my art. During this time, I developed a liking for playing guitar, which I learnt to play, and a passion for dancing. In November 1995, at 17, I immigrated to the UK, Cambridge to be more precise, where I became fascinated by the gospel choir at my local church and I started practising with them. Meanwhile, I concentrated on studying to improve my English and entered University. At this point, I started writing my own music, and recorded in various studios. In 1999, it was time for me to move to London, I continued expanding my gender of music from Gospel, to pop, to Jazz. Always driven by my devotion for my art, I went recording to San Fransisco, with a producer J, Grec Wallace Avenue. Then I travelled to Japan, searching for new inspirations. I came back, sang backing vocals for various bands and studied Audio Engineering at SAE College. Struggle and passion compelled me to get involved in different projects. Such as getting covered in black make-up wearing a black wig to be part od Diana ross and the Supreme tribute, after having only 3 days rehearsal, doing 2 hours show, where I hardly knew the songs. I also co-presented a talent contest for CBM International, and became a dancer for an African singer. I can honestly say that the creation of CALLIN', is one of my most precious work, because it represents the full expression of my ideas, and no inhibitions distracted me along the way, and the fact I did not try to conform myself to what music is supposed to be today, fills me with satisfaction. Furthermore, all these experiences, collaborations with producers, coaches, artists, the endless frustrations that all artists are overwhelmed by, and the encouragement of my close ones, allowed me to get a strong understanding of myself, and the music Industry. I earned the respect and credibility that enables me to write, produce my own music and take it a step further.
