Monsters Exist on CD

Formed late 2001 by sisters Ekin Üzeltüzenci, Pinar Üzeltüzenci and Kaan Akay, Proudpilot's Monsters Exist recording sessions were held at Deneyevi Studios Istanbul at February 2009 and the mix was made by Gökhan Demeç. Monsters Exist's mastering was made by Burak Tamer, one of the members of the band Replikas and the album art work is by Erden Özer Yalçinkaya. The album's going to be sold in America with the collabration effort of Peyote and Thrill Jockey. Proudpilot's music constructs itself with vox' keys' bass's and drums' instinctual cooperation and it is considered to be in close relations within the more underground styles of rock music with it's rootles character, aggressive themes and ryhtmic repetititons. "One on keys, the other on bass-two sisters and a great drummer. Singing, whispering, screaming and are not afraid of creating the most primitive sounds from their 'devices'. Famous for their live performances at Peyote, Pinar-Ekin Üzeltüzenci and Kaan Akay, has now created and album out of this spell of dizzying loops, paralyzing drums and sleepwalking screams: Monsters Exist. Before you are ready to meet this 40 minutes of hypnotic ritual, take your belongings with you and get your bag ready. Because you may head to places you have never expected and experienced before." Mehmet Tez / Editor in Chief, Rolling Stone Turkey.
