Sixth Serenade on CD

Pagosa Springs' majestic mountains and healing waters continue to be a source of musical inspiration for Rada at her piano. Her 6th all original CD of piano music 'Sixth Serenade' includes 13 original piano pieces written and recorded by Rada. It also includes a heartfelt thank-you to her husband Chip for building their home and her studio and encouraging her to follow her passion. 'Sixth Serenade' is a collection of 13 original piano pieces written and recorded by Rada. Three of the pieces on this CD were written for specific times, such as in memory of the tragedy at Virgina Tech. This piece entitled 'Deep Quiet' is reflective of the horror and the fear such a tragedy could produce. The music feels the moments of scatter, feelings of shock, tension and horror, moments of hush and moments of a 'we must carry on' feeling. 'So Still' was written the day Pagosa Springs had a record snowfall and Rada recalls 3 days of intense quiet about the town. The snow had literally paralyzed the area. Another piece called ' Twins' was written for two sisters, much like many twins, that have a special bond. 'Year's End' was written on new year's eve thus the title.
