With & Without Words on CD

....WITH AND WITHOUT WORDS CD... Music by Gilberto Ramirez and words and melodies by Hillary Williams.Produced and Mixed by John C. Link for Studio On Park Production. The CD is packed full of rhythms from Cuba and Brasil. The main influence being in the percussive latin rhythms with memorable melodies on top of the songs. The melodies are western-european, sung very passionately by Hillary Williams. Reminds you of Sergio Mendes & BRASIL'66 . This CD has been in the making for about 3 years. The CD tries to capture the feelings relating to the human conditions we all face on this planet, be it love, fear, sadness, laughter and forgiveness. It's all here in the music. Just listen for it!! The tunes are up beat with a dash of sadness, melancholy and even some funny stuff, like people clapping off beat in the introduction to the song NIGHTLIFE IN HAVANA. You, the listener, are taken on a road trip to different emotions through songs. Close your eyes and just feel the beat of the tune UMA CHAMA NOVA, which means a new flame or fire. The tune refers to not a new lover but the life you always wanted. Another tune about sadness is the song IN MY TOWN. You can hear the sound of tears as they fall as rain. The music reminds us that we often don't say everything that we feel except when compelled by change. People move us more than we want to admit. Music does indeed helps us to release our inner selves. You might just even take the CD when you head towards the beach or your favorite getaway place ... And by all means, turn up the volume when in the presence of others ....Thank you ... Adeus ...
