Variety on CD

Rev. Edward Conley has been singing since he was old enough to remember listening to his father on the radio on Sunday mornings. Rev. Conley started out, like so many other artist, sing in night clubs where he landed an opening spot in Chicago. He was later under contract with Denise LaSelle in the early 70's. He performed with some of the geatest artist in the industry. He showcased with such artist as Bobby Rush, The Late Z.Z Hill, Little Johnny Taylor, and many others. In 1983, Rev Conley was summoned into the ministry. And being taught that a call to preach is a call to prepare, Rev. Conley entered the seminary of American Baptist College in Nashville, Tn. He graduated in 1991 and moved on to Virginia, it was there that he began singing in the church where he pastored for ten years. Rev Conley has produced such up and coming artist as: Melvin Vaughan and the Voices of Praise, of Richmond, VA. Johnny Euell, of Milwaukee, WI. He has recorded one studio recorded C.D., And one Live recorded C.D. But Variety has been his blessing. He has showcased with such artist as The Original Soul Stirrers, Of Chicago, Ill., 'Pop' Wynans, and many more. Rev. Conley was a showcase contestant at the GMWA Conference in Milwaukee, WI in August, 2005. And won great reviews from the judges. When you listen to the up-tempo beat of I'm Happy With Jesus Alone, Nothing but The Blood, The Old-Time Religon, Washed In The Blood. I'm sure you will agree with me that he does have a great talent.
