Description

Pieces Off the Wall on CD

As well as enjoying others music, I always thought it would be nice if every family could have some music of their own. Sure, that's as realistic as families having, in house, their own Chef, Doctor, Mechanic etc. But let's reason here; how likely are dreams to materialize without effort? And then there are always those families that seem to be "up" on tidbits from several trades.Cool. For several years, the music compositions continued. But which tunes might be best for the first C.D.? Relax, spontaneity can be fun. Just decide on a few songs, move on it, and let the rest evolve, "off the wall" (just before or even during the studio work). Special thanks to John Marrella for harnessing the essence of the music and letting spontaneity occur, and to Dave Aurelio for his mastering expertise and many kind considerations. Future hopes are to bring more from, what has grown into, a diverse song catalogue. "Pieces" mixes genres as to "show the wares." The long-term idea is to communicate an eclectic style. You might not want to put this initial offering in a pigeon-hole, not just yet, after all, when has the future not held surprises? Regardless, it is with gratitude that this first work is rendered. Thanks and hope you enjoy it. - Rick Black.
