Description

Repeat the Cycle on CD

'Rightmind' is an UNSIGNED alternative music unit breaking new ground in the Tokyo music scene with a unique retro-futuristic sound, soulful melodies, and an electrifying live show. Members are David Henderson (songwriter and vocalist) from California, Adam Molyneux-Berry (songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist) from the U.K., and Hayato Takahashi (pianist and keyboardist) from Tokyo. 'Repeat the Cycle' is Rightmind's first full-length album, recorded and produced in the band's own 'Brainwash Studios' in Tokyo. The album blends stomping acoustic/electronic beats, gorgeous guitar riffs, and gripping vocals to create an addictive sound that crosses multiple genre. Standout tracks include 'a matter of when', a brooding electronic trip-hop track, 'the man I should be', an upbeat sci-fi hymn, and 'one of the few', the album's sinister glitch-retro finale. Contributors to the album include Dave Henderson on lead vocals, Naoya Okumara and Adam Molyneux-Berry on guitars, Hayato Takahashi on keys, Yuuka Kosugi with backing vocals, and additional arrangement / production by Yellowdevils and Chris Parren. The album was mastered in the UK at Tubemastering by twice Grammy nominated engineer Andy Jackson. All songs were written and produced by Dave Henderson.
