Las Calles de Mi Ciudad on CD

Rodolfo "Pocho" Serra Born in Argentina and raised in Venezuela, Pocho has always been recognized for his melodic, and clean style. This versatile guitarist was part of the prolific rock movement in Venezuela during the 80s and toured across the country with several bands. He was part of the opening band for Van Halen's performance in Venezuela, receiving excellent critics from Eddy Van Halen himself. In 1984 he played in the original line-up of Franklin Holland Project, considered Best New Rock Band of the year. With FHP he opened for Quiet Riot in Caracas. During the 90s, Pocho started exploring and expanding his work to new genres and styles as soul, blues and jazz performing with Grupo Casablanca, jazz and blues singer Biella Da Costa; one of the most renowned pop groups in Venezuela, Aditus, and collaborated with some of the best musicians in Venezuela. Now in Miami, and after a brief hiatus in his career Pocho comes back to explore his own musical inclinations as well as songwriting and producing his own material. In this opportunity he counts with excellent musicians such as: Teddy Mulet, Iván Velázquez, José Velazquez, Gerardo Ubieda and reunites with Franklin Holland. Among his favorite musicians are: Robben Ford, Eric Clapton, John Mayers, Scott Henderson, Sting and Gustavo Cerati. Discography: Franklin Holland Project (1985) La Respuesta (1987) Aditus: Reversible por Ambos Lados (1995) Dejá (1998) Las Calles de mi Ciudad (2008)
