Rage of War on CD

Rottweiller was born out of the mid-1980's Seattle Music scene that produced bands like Culprit, Queesryche, and Metal Church. Their first published offering was in 1984 with the song 'Intense as Hell' on Ground Zero Labels 'Northwest Metalfest' compilation LP, the album in which Metal Church also had their debut. After some line up changes, Rottweiller entered the studio in 1985 to record their debut album 'Screams of the Innocent'. Although the recording was completed in early 1986, the disc was not officially released until 16 years later in 2002, when the band came to the attention of Jürgen Hegewald of Germany, who saw fit to publish the disc on his Hellion Records Label. The band planned to follow their CD release with a trip to Germany, but the trip was in jeopardy from the increasing difficulties with the reunion of the original line up. Enter singer Ronny Munroe, who luckily was able to fill the role as vocalist and front man. Finally unleashed, Rottweiller blew away the crowds at the Club Hollywood in Itzehoe, and the 2002 Wacken Open Air Festival. Just weeks prior to their tour of Germany, it was clear that matters between the members of the original line up had become irreconcilable, and Ronny was asked to join the band permanently. But his tenure only lasted a few months, for soon after their return, he left the band to join Metal Church. However, Rottweiller was not without a singer for long. For as luck would have it, Martin Morin, the veteran vocalist from the band Alchemy X, had recently moved to the Seattle area from New York. Within a few weeks of Munroe's departure, Martin was working with the band on the new material that in only three months time, would be recorded for their second CD - Rage of War.
