In the Name of the Mother the Daughter & the Holy on CD

Madonna's Ray of Light spliced with Deepak Chopra's celebrity-studded Gift of Love disc is perhaps the commercial counterpart to Isabelle Pascale Granet's intriguingly erotic Sanctity...Granet's words are sultry and whispery, seducing the listener, proud and fiery, celebrating the sacredness of sex and spirit...Sanctity is darkly delicious, desirous, and dangerous to the powers who'd keep our passions under wraps. Be unafraid, Granet seems to say, explore the sanctity of your own vitality. - Paige La Grone, Amazon.com Parisian born vocalist Isabelle Pascale Granet possesses a deep sensuality and edge not found in many female artists of our time. This creative force was already evident during her childhood studies in music and dance. As an adult she emigrated to the United States. While living in Los Angeles and New York City she furthered her artistic studies and soon found herself on stage as a performance artist and poet. It was here where she first began to experiment with the idea of interweaving her words with the music of others. This eventually led to the concept of encapsulating Isabelle's words with her own music in a form which would come to be called 'Sanctity'. Isabelle has also published three poetry books 'The Heart Benjie', 'Her Lullaby For Your Soul' and 'Words Like Stars'. This earliest effort was very much encouraged by Grammy Award Winning mix engineer Ben Arrindell, who produced her first album, 'Sanctity' (under the artist name 'Isabelle Pascale Granet'). Ben has mixed for an array of artists including Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Yolanda Adams, and Mary J. Blige. The other key partner is writer and multi-instrumentalist Paul Hsu, who would become producer of the new album, 'In the Name of the Mother the Daughter and the Holy Will'. Paul has a formal music education in classical piano and composition. He has experience in both the music and film worlds as a sound designer, composer, and music producer working on projects both independent as well as mainstream.
