Sharon Rhinesmith and Tom Smith met at Temple University as music students, where they often performed together. Reuniting in 2004, they have concertized widely in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Their appearances together include performances with the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society, The Philadelphia Fringe Festival, The Concerts by Candlelight Series at the Chalfonte Hotel in Cape May, NJ and recitals at the Church of the Holy Trinity noontime series on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA and the Peak Center for the Arts in Lansdale, PA. As a member of the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Trio, Tom has performed in Puerto Rico and Panama and has toured the Mid-Atlantic states as a roster artist for the Pennsylvania Performing Arts On Tour program. He is also an award-winning composer and his pieces have been premiered at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival and the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society's annual guitar festival. Sharon is a frequent performer of oratorio, opera and recital. Her solo appearances include performances with The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Philadelphia Singers, Concert Opera Philadelphia, The Princeton Pro Musica, The Bach Aria Festival of New York and the Lake George (New York) Opera Festival, among many others.
