Songs from the Redneck Yacht Club on CD

"Songs from the Redneck Yacht Club" is a compilation of tunes written by hitmakers Thom Shepherd and Steve Williams. The two wrote the Craig Morgan hit, "Redneck Yacht Club," and this CD features the original writers version with an alternate second verse. Shepherd is the writer of the hit song "Riding with Private Malone" and has had his songs recorded by Montgomery Gentry, George Jones, Pam Tillis, Buddy Jewell, Kevin Fowler, and Ronnie Bowman. Williams has had songs recorded by Steve Holy, Blue County, Sherrie Austin, Trick Pony, Laura Bryna, and Buddy Jewell. Thom and Steve say 'A lot of these songs were inspired by the fun times we spent out at Elm Hill Marina on good ol' G Dock at Percy Priest Lake. They have all been tested and approved and yahooed by the Redneck Yacht Club, Elm Hill Marina Chapter, Nashville, Tennessee. The Party Cove in "Redneck Yacht Club" was inspired by the ones at Lake of the Ozarks and Percy Priest Lake. However, this CD is approved for use at all Party Coves in the United States and Canada and the world for that matter. For best results, just add water. Or cold beer.' The CD also features the song 'Djibouti' - a slightly tasteless song inspired by a trip to the country of Djibouti in Africa.
