Description

RM Music Love & Friendship Society on CD

Ted Jones, Rageddy Man, completes the RM Trilogy combining his raw vocals with the angelic harmonies of the trio 'Sleep til May.' This is the seventh CD featuring songs by Rags. It began with the Poet, Soldier, Wiseman, King CD; two recordings, the Djembe Sessions and Released by Jonathan Singleton and The Grove, a predominantly country outing, Just Once, featuring Josh Smith, RM Deluxe, RM Labyrinth, and now the RM Music, Love, & Friendship Society. By the way, they don't call it the music, love, & friendship society---they call it the music business. Oh well...... Listeners will find a lot of music, love, and friendship on this release. Songs feature long time collaborators, Chuck McGill, Jonathan Singleton, and Bruce Wallace. Also, an oldie but goodie written with Texas favorite, Micky Braun, 'Raining in Austin.' Once again, Ilya Toshinsky brings his many musical gifts to the project, and Rob Matson of County Q Productions lends his engineering expertise in the studio. Fresh arrangements of Bittersweet Love, Angels Waltz, Deepest Shade of Blue, and Rags to Riches will be of interest to those already familiar with these songs.... brand new songs, 'You Are' and 'Say When' touch on the theme of love. Percussion work showcases the versatility and imagination of Paul Scholten. Segues throughout the CD are seamless and transitory. If it were my dream, this CD would be a household name across the country. Share with a friend, world without end. Many thanks ~ RM.
