Nickelodeon's Mexican-themed animated series, which debuted in January 2007, receives its first video game adaptation with El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera for Nintendo DS. Skeletons are terrorizing Miracle City, and it's up to Manny Rivera to save the day. As in the television show, the game follows the story of the 13-year-old Manny, whose magical belt allows him to transform into his tiger-like alter ego, El Tigre. El Tigre uses his retractable claws and super jumps to defeat enemies, with powerful combo moves initiated by the touch-screen interface. Players can also perform "good" deeds like Manny's superhero father or "evil" actions like his villainous grandfather. Each decision opens up new paths throughout the game.
