EA's playground-style soccer series continues with FIFA Street 3 on DS, which offers touch-screen controls for passing, shots on goal, and context-sensitive tricks. The heart of the single-player game is the FIFA Street Challenge, where players choose a captain from a pool of real-life soccer stars and lead a custom team through 80 challenges. The challenges are all variations on the core game, from timed matches to scoring a specific number of goals before the opposition. As players win each challenge, they will earn reputation to unlock subsequent matches as well as flashy new moves, kits, and soccer balls. Both single- and multi-card wireless options are supported for local games against friends, while solo gamers looking for human competition can find a worthy opponent online via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
