Heavenly Guardian tells the story of the snow fairy Sayuki who travels through ancient Japan battling mythological creatures in order to save a loved one. The gameplay consists primarily of rapid-fire shooting from an overhead view, and players can take on the challenge in Story, Boss Attack, Score Attack, and Time Attack modes.
