A puzzle game with the darkly comic atmosphere of a Tim Burton movie, Dropcast follows the tale of Ingrid, a young girl who can't make friends, so she decides to literally make friends by bringing her stuffed animals to life. Ingrid animates eight of her toys and teaches them 24 different fiendish spells, which players can then use in two separate game modes. Ingrid's Curse is a traditional block-dropping mode in the vein of Tetris and Collapse!, while Battle Royale is a head-to-head mode in which gamers match colored blocks in order to cast spells at their opponent. Battle Royal can be played against the computer in Story mode, but gamers can also make use of Dropcast's "cart-sharing" option to play against up to three others using a single game cartridge. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
