Lynda Carter became an immediate superstar in 1976 when she stepped into the costume of comic book superhero Wonder Woman. The live-action adventure, based on the original comic book series, was originally set during World War II, but was moved to a modern setting for its second and third seasons. A former princess-turned-superhero, Wonder Woman (with the help of government agent Steve Trevor (Lyle Waggoner) uses her magic belt, bulletproof bracelets, and magical lasso to bring about harmony and peace. Season Three boasts the series wildest battles against evil forces, including someone transported from the year 2155, a bodiless brain, and a sculptor whose artworks assist him in his fights. This release contains the third and final season of the popular series, which became a fan favorite despite its short run thanks in part to syndication.
