"Girl All The Bad Guys Want" was nominated for the 2003 Grammy Awards for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal.

With Marvelous 3's Butch Walker at the production helm and a firm tongue-in-cheek sense of humor, Bowling For Soup once again separates itself from the pop-punk masses by way of DRUNK ENOUGH TO DANCE, the band's third full-length outing. Leaning more towards Rivers Cuomo's geek-punk sans the dark overtones versus the smart-ass bluster of Sum 41, BFS plays perennial runner-up in the game of love. Going cheeky versus bitter in addressing their romantic shortcomings, these Texans conjure up ear candy like "She's Got A Boyfriend," harmony-soaked post-break-up anthem "Life After Lisa," and chugging "Girl All The Bad Guys Want." Other highlights include Blink-182-ish manna like the pogo-ready "Cold Shower Tuesdays," the galloping insistence of "The Last Rock Show," and quick shuffling story-song "Running From Your Dad." Thanks to Walker's work and a quick wit, Bowling For Soup throws a strike with DRUNK ENOUGH TO DANCE.

Q (11/02, p.97) - 4 stars out of 5 - "...Crispy poppy tunes. Emily has brilliant harmonies..."

CMJ (8/5/02, p.12) - "...An aggresive and playful album that will make the tightest ass inthe crowd crack a giggle or two..."

NME (Magazine) (8/10/02, p.33) - 6 out of 10 - "...Take it as parody, take it as pure pop: either way, it tastes pretty sweet."
