Who Is Mrs. Winslow ? on CD

Mrs. Winslow was a band from Baltimore formed in 1997 originally by Timm Huhn (guitar/Lead Vocals) and Todd Smoot (bass), then they went under the name APHID.. With the bass player of mongoose, Brian Zang, on drums Aphid recorded a three song demo called 'Corporate Lunch Scientist Whore' Early incarnations of the songs 'refuse' and 'Till the end' can be found on this recording, which has since been long lost. Brian Zang Quit Aphid in 98 due to his religious enlightment, and Drummer Shannon McNally was added to the line up. Then we mostly played small venues, highschools and community center gigs. In 99 Todd Smoot Left the band and Rob Landon was brought in on Bass and Jonnie Foster on second guitar. We then changed the name to Mrs. Winslow. We recorded another demo.. this one was untitled but it contained early incarnations of 'Refuse' and ' Safari Psycho' as well as a few other songs including a more upbeat version of Chuck Berrys 'My Ding-a-ling' Shortly thereafter Mrs. Winslow had another set back due to creative distances and we came apart. We got back together yet again with Rob Landon and Shannon McNally, We schedualed what would become the first recording session that would become half of the album 'who is mrs. Winslow?' The day before we were supposed to hit the studio, We had a set back due to differences between me, shannon and rob landon. Stan Callaway Stepped in and saved the day, he was the bass player for the Supervixens at the time. Only one day after him learning the songs we pushed out 'Anti-femme' 'refuse' 'change' and 'go'. You can hear stan doing back up vocals throughout the album. Almost a year later We finished up the album with the addition of Chuck Arnold. You can hear Chuck on Second guitar on 'Ryan Teter's Love Song' 'The shortbus' 'safari psycho' 'till the end' and 'breathe'.
