As painter Richard Streeb (Simeon Moni Damerski) opened a gallery show featuring his usual macabre subject matter, he was stabbed and taken by a masked assailant. That was the eyewitness account of his horrified wife Gloria (Liz Haverty), but the cops declared no case without a body.
