After last year's re-releases of "The Corpse of Rebirth" (2008) and "Opportunistic Thieves of Spring" (2010), a Forest of Stars' third album "A Shadowplay for Yesterdays" is the band's actual debut on Prophecy Productions. While keeping their characteristically eccentric and sombre compositions as basis for their new release, epic Doom Metal riffs and the melody and playfulness of classic Prog Rock are now equally important to their Avantgarde Black Metal.
