Coastline & a Forest on CD

Like many enduring things, All the Tired Horses began in a gymnasium. A gymnasium where a band called Chance of Rain and a singer/songwriter named Jeremiah Wingerden were sharing a bill together. Through the annoying din that can be live music performed in a room designed for playing basketball, mutual admirations and friendships were formed. This led to some weekends in the shed- become-recording-room behind Andy Bova's parents house, Andy as engineer of the tascam 8-track, Jeremiah as folk balladeer. Eventually, the 8-track got bigger and the shed became a basement studio known as 'Simple Sound.' Following the trend of maturation, the songwriting began to grow a beard and eyes more weary of the world. Returning to Andy's studio for another weekend of recording, Jeremiah was informed that Chance of Rain had disbanded, and that with the free time this would leave him, Andy wanted to try and play drums on some of Jeremiah's songs. This brings us to the present: Jeremiah set aside his ideas for recording a solo album, removed one of his ribs and gave it to Andy. The two men became the skeleton of All the Tired Horses. Former Chance of Rain bandmates John Molnar and Josh Bova would later join, adding another guitar and a bass guitar. Today, All the Tired Horses seeks to further mature in the nature of it's conception. The band's self produced debut album, 'A Coastline and a Forest,' engineered by Andy at Simple sound is a collection of 7 songs which grew from that single rib.
